Founded by Marge Ellenberger. Michigan Lighthouse Festival's mission is to advocate, honor, inspire, and promote all the lighthouses in the State of Michigan. Michigan has more lighthouses than any other state (129), and the Michigan Lighthouse Festival travels the great State of Michigan each year to celebrate and focus its beam on a new lighthouse!

You're Invited to the 40 Mile Point Lighthouse Societys' Annual Arts & Craft Show and Open-House, Memorial Day Weekend. Saturday & Sunday, May 23, 24, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day.

You are invited to join us for our annual "Afternoon of Arts & Craftsƀ show which is held in Presque Isle County's Lighthouse Park.

You will have the opportunity to enjoy the work of many talented Artists, Musicians and Crafts people from all over Michigan.

Memorial Day Week-end is also the Annual Open House Week-end at 40 Mile Point Lighthouse. This is a great family setting offering visitors a chance to step back in time surrounded history or just sit a spell and enjoy the view!

You may climb the Lighthouse tower, tour the Museum and Gift Shop, step aboard the restored Calcite pilothouse or visit a shipwreck on the beach!

Our Rogers City Kiwanis Club's will be serving their famous Whitefish Sandwiches and light refreshments will be served in the Fog Signal building. This Memorial Day Week-end Event has it all and admission is free!

THUNDER BAY MARITIME FESTIVAL

The Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary in Alpena is host to this community event showcasing the area's rich Maritime Heritage. Enjoy live music and more. There are games for kids and crafts.
